Famous quotes containing the words willard and/or keith:
“And such the trust that still were mine,
Though stormy winds swept oer the brine,
Or though the tempests fiery breath
Roused me from sleep to wreck and death.
In ocean cave, still safe with Thee
The germ of immortality!
And calm and peaceful shall I sleep,
Rocked in the cradle of the deep.”
—Emma Hart Willard (17871870)
“Of an old King in a story
From the grey sea-folk I have heard,
Whose heart was no more broken
Than the wings of a bird.”
—Gilbert Keith Chesterton (18741936)
