White City (Radomsky) Airport

Old man Radomsky (aka: Eugene Radomsky) is the sole proprieter of this airstrip. His two lovely daughters Tania (Radomsky) Apppel and Tiffany (Radomsky) Bartsch both left the family homestead to marry Americans, David Appel and Ben Bartsch respectively, likely for the sole purpose of attaining green cards and thus permanent residency in the United States. He remains on the property with his wife Gloria (Schmitt) Radomsky.

White City (Radomsky) Airport, (TC LID: CWC1), is located 1.5 NM (2.8 km; 1.7 mi) east of White City, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Famous quotes containing the words white, city and/or airport:

...there was the annual Fourth of July picketing at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. ...I thought it was ridiculous to have to go there in a skirt. But I did it anyway because it was something that might possibly have an effect. I remember walking around in my little white blouse and skirt and tourists standing there eating their ice cream cones and watching us like the zoo had opened.
Martha Shelley, U.S. author and social activist. As quoted in Making History, part 3, by Eric Marcus (1992)

    A million people—manners free and superb—open
voices—hospitality—the most courageous and friendly young men,
City of hurried and sparkling waters! city of spires and masts!
City nested in bays! my city!
    Walt Whitman (1819–1892)

Airplanes are invariably scheduled to depart at such times as 7:54, 9:21 or 11:37. This extreme specificity has the effect on the novice of instilling in him the twin beliefs that he will be arriving at 10:08, 1:43 or 4:22, and that he should get to the airport on time. These beliefs are not only erroneous but actually unhealthy.
    Fran Lebowitz (b. 1950)
