When the Angels Swing is a swing album by German pop group No Angels, released by Polydor's sublabel Cheyenne Recordson on November 29, 2002. While the album failed to chart on the Swiss albums chart, it managed to peaked at number 9 in Germany and number 22 in Austria. Primarily produced and arranged by Till Brönner, it spawned the Alison Moyet cover "All Cried out" as a single. The rest of the tracklist primarily featured re-arranged tracks, taken from the group's albums Elle'ments and Now ... Us! except the only previously unreleased song "Funky Dance".

Famous quotes containing the words when the, angels and/or swing:
“The question mark is alright when it is all alone when it
is used as a brand on cattle or when it could be used
in decoration but connected with writing it is
completely entirely completely uninteresting.... A
question is a question, anybody can know that a
question is a question and so why add to it the
question mark when it is already there when the
question is already there in the writing.”
—Gertrude Stein (18741946)
“The guided missiles,
The black-and-white angels follow each quirk and jink of
The evasive sheep, play grandmothers-steps behind them,
Freeze to the ground, or leap to head off a straggler”
—Cecil Day Lewis (19041972)
“The swing of milk was tufted in the pap....”
—Dylan Thomas (19141953)
