Music Video
The music video for "When" was shot in New York City, and directed by Markus Blunder. It was released in the UK in August 1998, and played once in the United States on CMT's Video Bio for Twain. The video starts with Twain dying and becoming an angel, and then she goes around New York City. Her stunt double was actress Alissa Dean. Although the video was released only to Europe, the 'Original Album Version' is used, which is more "country". "When" is the only video from Twain's first three albums to not be included on the DVD The Platinum Collection.

Famous quotes containing the words music and/or video:
“If mass communications blend together harmoniously, and often unnoticeably, art, politics, religion, and philosophy with commercials, they bring these realms of culture to their common denominator—the commodity form. The music of the soul is also the music of salesmanship. Exchange value, not truth value, counts.”
—Herbert Marcuse (1898–1979)
“I recently learned something quite interesting about video games. Many young people have developed incredible hand, eye, and brain coordination in playing these games. The air force believes these kids will be our outstanding pilots should they fly our jets.”
—Ronald Reagan (b. 1911)
