Famous quotes containing the word notice:

I am parshial to ladies if they are nice[.] I suppose it is my nature. I am not quite a gentleman but you would hardly notice it.
    Daisy Ashford (1881–1972)

Just as soon as we notice that someone has to force himself to pay attention when dealing and talking with us, we have a valid demonstration that he does not love us or that he does not love us anymore.
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)

By the time we are women, fear is as familiar to us as air. It is our element. We live in it, we inhale it, we exhale it, and most of the time we do not even notice it. Instead of “I am afraid,” we say, “I don’t want to,” or “I don’t know how,” or “I can’t.”
    Andrea Dworkin (b. 1946)
