Wharton's Jelly - Stem Cells

Stem Cells

Wharton's jelly is therefore a potential source of adult stem cells (also see the more common method of storing cord blood).

Famous quotes containing the words stem and/or cells:

Ignorance, the root and stem of all evil.
    Plato (c. 427–347 B.C.)

If I’d written all the truth I knew for the past ten years, about 600 people—including me—would be rotting in prison cells from Rio to Seattle today. Absolute truth is a very rare and dangerous commodity in the context of professional journalism.
    Hunter S. Thompson (b. 1939)
