The Weymouth Pavilion, formerly the Ritz, is a theatre opened in 1908. It is owned and operated by Weymouth & Portland Borough Council and has a capacity of 500. The theatre is located on Weymouth Pier, a peninsula of land reclaimed from the sea between Weymouth Harbour and Weymouth Beach and Esplanade. The newly built Weymouth Sea Life Tower is also located in this area.
