In addition to all year-round student activities, Wesleyan Academy seventh graders participate in a one week "School Without Walls" retreat at the Boys Scouts of America Guajataka Scout Reservation on the Guajataka Reservoir each year. It is truly a unique class bonding experience each year. It also serves as an extraordinary leadership-developing experience for students from tenth to twelfth grade who serve as Student Counselors. The Senior class returns to Guajataka to participate in "The Return" event before graduation.

—Aldous Huxley (18941963)
