Medical Program
The medical program in WCMC-Q follows the same structure of education as the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University in New York City, composed of four years of education, with the first and second years being primarily academic, and the third and fourth years being mainly in the hospital. The primary teaching hospitals for WCMC-Q students are Hamad Medical Corporation, and Sidra Medical and Research Center, a massive hospital under construction to be focused primarily upon obstetrics and pediatrics. All teaching faculty are brought from the main campus of the Medical College to maintain a consistent education standard, and the degree awarded is the same degree of the campus in New York.

Famous quotes containing the words medical and/or program:
“Often, we expect too much [from a nanny]. We want someone like ourselvesbright, witty, responsible, loving, imaginative, patient, well-mannered, and cheerful. Also, we want her to be smart, but not so smart that shes going to get bored in two months and leave us to go to medical school.”
—Louise Lague (20th century)
“Chippenhook was the home of Judge Theophilus Harrington, known for his trenchant reply to an irate slave-owner in a runaway slave case. Judge Harrington declared that the owners claim to the slave was defective. The owner indignantly demanded to know what was lacking in his legally sound claim. The Judge exploded, A bill of sale, sir, from God Almighty!”
—For the State of Vermont, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
