Policy
WEC only knows two 'strategies': love God, and love your neighbour. WEC workers cross cultures as servants, as learners, as friends. They receive much from the people among whom they serve; all they offer, in deed and word, is an invitation to follow Christ.
WEC International believes that God can provide for their needs without standard fundraising, and that he will be able tell his servants to give the needed money. Hence, their policy is to ask only God, and not people, to supply their needs.

Famous quotes containing the word policy:
“If matrimony be really beneficial to society, the custom that ... married women alone are allowed any claim to place, is as useful a piece of policy as ever was invented.... The ridicule fixed on the appellation of old maid hath, I doubt not, frightened a very large number into the bonds of wedlock.”
—Sarah Fielding (17101768)
“In considering the policy to be adopted for suppressing the insurrection, I have been anxious and careful that the inevitable conflict for this purpose shall not degenerate into a violent and remorseless revolutionary struggle.”
—Abraham Lincoln (18091865)
“Mr. Wiggam, I want you to change the policy of The Clarion. I want you to write a story I should have written myself long ago. I want you to tell the people of San Francisco that no city can exist without law and order. Write a story about that flag, write about what verifies and brings a promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. There are some people in this town who dont seem to know that. Let The Clarion tell them.”
—Ben Hecht (18931964)
