Out-of-market Carriage and CATV
In New Jersey, WCBS is carried in all of Mercer County. For Comcast subscribers, it is carried Channel 2 in Princeton but the rest of the county carries it on Chanel 256 as a Standard Definition (SD) signal. On August 22, 2012 Comcast added the High Definition (HD) feed of WCBS on Channel 902. Cablevision continues to carry WCBS on Channel 2 and Verizon FioS subscribers can receive WCBS on Channel 2 (SD) and 502 (HD).
In Pennsylvania, the Lehigh Valley from Allentown to Easton carries WCBS.
In Connecticut, it is carried in the New Haven area.
During the CATV era of the 1970s and 1980s, WCBS had coverage in much of southern New Jersey. This included Burlington, Atlantic, Cumberland and Cape May counties. As WCBS was once carried in Cumberland County, it also carried WMAR-TV (channel 2) out of Baltimore as well.
