Famous quotes containing the word water:

For months it hasn’t known the taste of steel
Washed down with rusty water in a tin.
But standing outdoors hungry, in the cold,
Except in towns at night, is not a sin.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)

The dominant and most deep-dyed trait of the journalist is his timorousness. The journalist confines himself to the clean, gentlemanly work of exposing the griefs and shames of others.
    Janet Malcolm (b. 1934)
