Governance
The First Nation elect their officials through the Custom Electoral System. Their council consists of Alex McDougall as Chief and Councillors Martin Harper, Thomas Harper, Violet Harper, Ian Knott, James Knott and Joseph McDougall. Their two-year term ends on 02/10/2013.
The First Nation maintains political affiliations are with the Island Lake Tribal Council (ILTC), Manitoba Keewatinohk Okimahkanak (MKO), Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) and Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC).
