Warwick Agreement - Future Developments

Future Developments

There is a small sector that believes a new, more relevant version of the Warwick Agreement is required to clamp down on some aspects of public services. Famous quotes containing the words future and/or developments:

A fixed image of the future is in the worst sense ahistorical.
    Juliet Mitchell (b. 1940)

The developments in the North were those loosely embraced in the term modernization and included urbanization, industrialization, and mechanization. While those changes went forward apace, the antebellum South changed comparatively little, clinging to its rural, agricultural, labor-intensive economy and its traditional folk culture.
    C. Vann Woodward (b. 1908)
