Notes
- Bill Tsamis auditioned for the vacant guitar spot in the Ozzy Osbourne band after the death of Randy Rhoads in the spring of 1982. After initially selecting George Lynch, new auditions were held in December '82. The position would go to Jake E. Lee instead.
- Warlord keyboardist Diane Kornarens made her recording debut at the ripe age of 14 as the bassist for Avatar (not to be confused with the Florida-based metal band of the same name that later became Savatage) who are featured on the first Metal Massacre compilation. After Warlord, Diane co-founded the band Sahara with guitarist Phil Woodward and singer Liz Vandall (later to join Uli Jon Roth) who released a pair of albums, Going Crazy (1992) and The Seventh House (1994), through Germany's Dream Circle label.
- Yngwie Malmsteen cited Warlord as his favorite band during an interview with Music Connection magazine in the early '80s.
- Michael Browning, the manager of AC/DC, took a great interest in 'Warlord'. However, in the end, Browning decided not to commit to any formal contract with the band.
- The band HammerFall derived their name from the chorus/lyric of Warlord's "Lucifer's Hammer"
- Bill Tsamis played the lead guitar solo on the HammerFall tune "At the End of the Rainbow"
