War To End All Wars (album)

War to End All Wars is an album by Yngwie J. Malmsteen, released in 2000 by Spitfire Records in North America simultaneously with Pony Canyon's release in Japan and Dream Catcher's in Europe. While on tour for this album, singer Mark Boals left the band, and was replaced for a brief period by Jorn Lande, Boals then returned to finish off the tour. The first single and promo video was "Crucify".

The phrase "the war to end all wars" was historically used as a description of World War I, especially in the period 1918-1939.

The track Molto Arpeggiosa is often mislabeled as Arpeggios From Hell.

Famous quotes containing the words war and/or wars:

O I know they make war because they want peace; they hate so that they may live; and they destroy the present to make the world safe for the future. When have they not done and said they did it for that?
    Elizabeth Smart (1913–1986)

Probably the battle of Waterloo was won on the playing-fields of Eton, but the opening battles of all subsequent wars have been lost there.
    George Orwell (1903–1950)
