Famous quotes containing the words prisoner and/or death:
“That there is also freedom in captivity, only a prisoner can claim. Coming from a prison guard, this statement would be blasphemy.”
—Friedrich Dürrenmatt (19211990)
“Farewell deare flowers, sweetly your time ye spent,
Fit, while ye livd, for smell or ornament,
And after death for cures.
I follow straight without complaints or grief,
Since if my sent be good, I care not, if
It be as short as yours.”
—George Herbert (15931633)
