Theater
Page Senior High School's performers are known as the Page Playmakers. Page Senior High is Troupe #7253 of the International Thespian Society. The Page Playmakers are currently under the direction of Laura White. The Page Playmakers usually follow a show schedule similar to this:
- Cabaret of Life, a variety show of short skits, songs, and dances based around a central theme.
- Two Winter Repertory Shows, for which the Playmakers find a local director. For the 2011-2012 season, the winter season has been reduced to a single show, a special holiday production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol
- A spring Musical.

Famous quotes containing the word theater:
“The Miss America contest is ... the most perfectly rendered theater in our culture, for it so perfectly captures what we yearn for: a low-class ritual, a polished restatement of vulgarity, that wants to open the door to high-class respectability by way of plain middle-class anxiety and ambition.”
—Gerald Early (b. 1952)
“...I have never known a movement in the theater that did not work direct and serious harm. Indeed, I have sometimes felt that the very people associated with various uplifting activities in the theater are people who are astoundingly lacking in idealism.”
—Minnie Maddern Fiske (18651932)
“Since people no longer attend church, theater remains as the only public service, and literature as the only private devotion.”
—Franz Grillparzer (17911872)
