This single became the #3 single of 2000 in Japan. This single reached #29 on World Charts for single airplay, and reached #18 for sales. The most recent figures (May 26, 2006) show that the singe sold 1,662,060 units in total.
The song's music video was directed by Utada's then-husband, Kazuaki Kiriya. It features Utada flying around an unnamed Japanese city on a futuristic speeder bike, while in another location she performs the song with two clones of herself.
