Fundraisers
In May 2009, the 5k Fun Run & Jiggety Jog raised nearly $40,000 for VNA's Vermont Respite House, Vermont's only hospice home. Over 250 participants walked, ran, biked and skated to raise funds. These funds help the Vermont Respite House care for more than 100 residents a year - regardless of their ability to pay full fee. This event has been held since 1991.
In April 2009, the VNA held its annual Spring Blooms! Fashion Show and Luncheon. Around 240 guests enjoyed lunch at the Sheraton while viewing fashions from SportStyle and Brooks Brothers Factory Store. More than $20,000 was raised for the Janet S. Munt Family Room, a program of the VNA whil provides essential services and programs that support parents and children in our community.
