The heir apparent is the present holder's second son, Hon. Oliver Ivo Vesey (b. 1991). The eldest son, Hon. Damian Vesey, was born in 1985, two years before his parents' marriage. Damian, who graduated from University of Nottingham and subsequently the Sotheby's Institute of Art, now works for Christie's in London. The brothers are, by their mother, great-grandsons of the Maharajah Uday Chand Mahtab of Burdwan.
