Virus Locker

Virus Locker is a program that claims to be antispyware software but is in reality malware. It is linked to by other malware and tries to get the user to buy its suspicious software for about $50.

Virus Locker is a rouge-anti Virus Software that trys to trick users into thinking it is a legit program. The program may send you fake alerts, that should be ignored. It try's to scam users into purchasing the software. This can unauthorized purchases being made on one's credit card.

How to Remove Virus Locker:

1. Restart your computer and press the F8 key until you are in safemode (an option to enter safemodde will show up)

2. Press the start key and enter "Uninstall" in the search. Then click on uninstall programs.

3. Find a program that is VirusLocker 3.1 and click on it

4. Finally click on "Remove", this will remove the program.

5. It is recommended to also scan your computer with an Anti-Virus software that is up to date.

ADVANCE STEPS (Note: don't try to change the Registry if you don't have much experience modifying registries. Changing the wrong thing can cause computer to crash)

Delete the following from the Registry..
