Organization

The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets (VTCC) is a cadet-run organization, consisting of approximately 800 members, and is modeled on an Army infantry regiment structure. The cadet corps is supervised by a senior leadership staff who establish cadet regulations and enforce base line guidance for the running of the cadet corps. The day-to-day corps activities, however, are run by the cadets.

One of the many reasons for the bewildering and tragic character of human existence is the fact that social organization is at once necessary and fatal. Men are forever creating such organizations for their own convenience and forever finding themselves the victims of their home-made monsters.
    Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)

It is essential that there should be organization of labor. This is an era of organization. Capital organizes and therefore labor must organize.
    Theodore Roosevelt (1858–1919)

The village had institutionalized all human functions in forms of low intensity.... Participation was high and organization was low. This is the formula for stability.
    Marshall McLuhan (1911–1980)
