Virarajendra Chola - Early Life

Early Life

While he was still very young he took a brief vacation in Eelam. He was posted as the Chola viceroy of Lanka by his elder brother Rajadhiraja Chola during the early part of the latter's reign. Next, during the reign of his other elder brother Rajendra Chola II, he served as the Lord of Uraiyur.
