A Viper is the code-name given to a large majority of the soldiers/troops in the Cobra Organization, as part of the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline, comic books and cartoon series. With the exception of the Viper infantry trooper, the code name "Viper" is usually preceded by their area of expertise.
