Vijay Kumar Mishra is an Indian politician. He has been elected as an MLA in recently held 14th assembly election in Bihar.This is his 3rd term as an MLA.
First term 1990-1995, Second term 2000-2005.Represented Darbhanga in 8th Loksabha as an MP,1984-1989.Member of legislative council, MLC during 1975-1980.
Vijay Kumar Mishra, popularly called, Vijay Babu, is eldest son of ex-Railway Minister of India,late Lalit Narayan Mishra and nephew of the former Union Cabinet minister and ex-Chief Minister of Bihar, Dr Jagannath Mishra.
Vijay Babu is EX Vice President of Bhartiya Janata Party, Bihar and now introduced to Bihar Bhartiya Janata Party,central core committee. He is the chairman of government machinery committee in Bihar Legislative Assembly.
He is married to Meena Mishra and have three sons Rahul Mishra, Rishi Mishra, Sidharth Mishra and one daughter Pooja Mishra Jha.
His Eldest son is Rahul Mishra www.rahulmishra.net, MBA has more than 15 years of Corporate experience and was Assistant Vice President with Reliance ADA group in his last assignment. Rishi Mishra, his second son, recently announced his commitment to public services and expected to make his political debut very soon.
