Disappearance and Loss of Corporate Good Standing
Sometime in March 2010, Vigor Gaming was allegedly robbed. Their online and phone presence disappeared over night. Hundreds of people were left paying for something they never got, and thousands were left with an unfulfilled warranty.
A whois search for VIGORGAMINGPC.COM shows their address as 1300 John Reed Court Suite C, City of Industry, California 91748, United States. A California Business Entity Search shows entity number C3083315 to be suspended and C2898438 to be dissolved, both have VIGOR in their name, and the above address, so they have failed to stay in good standing in California and in the eyes of the state are not a functioning corporation. According to rumors that have circulated online, the company was robbed by its owner, who sold his house and took the money from the outstanding sales before leaving town. Some of the staff went on to found V3 Gaming.

Famous quotes containing the words loss, corporate and/or standing:
“One who shows signs of mental aberration is, inevitably, perhaps, but cruelly, shut off from familiar, thoughtless intercourse, partly excommunicated; his isolation is unwittingly proclaimed to him on every countenance by curiosity, indifference, aversion, or pity, and in so far as he is human enough to need free and equal communication and feel the lack of it, he suffers pain and loss of a kind and degree which others can only faintly imagine, and for the most part ignore.”
—Charles Horton Cooley (18641929)
“The generation of women before us who rushed to fill the corporate ranks altered our expectations of what working motherhood could be, tempered our ambition, and exploded the supermom myth many of us held dear.”
—Melinda M. Marshall (20th century)
“It is a great pitybut tis certain from every days observation of man, that he may be set on fire like a candle, at either endprovided there is a sufficient wick standing out.”
—Laurence Sterne (17131768)
