Video Archives was a video rental store located in Manhattan Beach, California, owned and managed by Lance Lawson. In his youth, director Quentin Tarantino, worked there. So too were Roger Avary, the writer/director of The Rules of Attraction, Chuck Kelley co-founder of the internet radio station LuxuriaMusic, and producer Daniel Snyder, who is best known for the documentary Dreams on Spec. The store was also frequented by screenwriters Josh Olson (A History of Violence), Jeff Maguire (In the Line of Fire), John Langley (the creator of COPS), and Danny Strong, most famous for his role as Johnathan Levinson on television's Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
