Personal Life
Tennant's first marriage was to Swiss millionaire and club owner Peppo Vanini. She was later married to the comedian/actor Steve Martin from 1986 to 1994; she starred opposite him in All of Me and L.A. Story.
Since 1996, Tennant has been married to Kirk Justin Stambler, a lawyer with Warner Bros., with whom she has a daughter and a son.
She is distantly related to silent film actress Barbara Tennant (1892–1982).
