Victor Kilian - Death

Death

Five days later on March 11, 1979, Victor Kilian, who lived alone just blocks from Wagenheim, was also beaten to death by burglars in his Hollywood apartment.

On March 20, 1979, TV's All in the Family posthumously aired Wagenheim’s and Kilian’s last screen performance, in the episode, "The Return of Stephanie's Father".

Kilian's cremated remains were scattered in the rose garden at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.

Famous quotes containing the word death:

    War. Fighting. Men ... every man in the whole realm is in the army.... Every man in uniform ... An economy entirely geared to war ... but there is not much war ... hardly any fighting ... yet every man a soldier from birth till death ... Men ... all men for fighting ... but no war, no wars to fight ... what is it, what does it mean?”
    Doris Lessing (b. 1919)

    I just look at death as not a threat. It’s inevitable, and I have an assurance of eternal life.
    Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.)

    hung up like a pig on exhibit,
    the delicate wrists,
    the beard drooling blood and vinegar;
    hooked to your own weight,
    jolting toward death under your nameplate.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)
