Victor Ehrenberg (historian)

Victor Ehrenberg (22 November 1891 – 25 January 1976) was a German historian. He was the younger brother of Hans Ehrenberg and the nephew of the jurist Victor Ehrenberg.

Ehrenberg was born in Altona, Hamburg.He was married to Eva Dorothea Ehrenberg, née Sommer (1891–1964). He was the father of Geoffrey and Lewis Elton, and grandfather of Ben Elton. He died, aged 84, in London.
