Program
The Vet Tech Institute provides an associates degree which can be completed in 16-18 months, depending on the program at each location. The program has a full x-ray and surgical setup as well as onsite kennels. Students are educated in handling animal patients, office procedures, anesthesia, sterilization, radiology, pharmacology and other procedures. Students study under a licensed veterinarian as part of their hands-on education. A large animal practicum and externship are also included in the program.
