Compatibility With Inner Products
Vectorization is a unitary transformation from the space of n×n matrices with the Frobenius (or Hilbert-Schmidt) inner product to Cn :
- tr(A* B) = vec(A)* vec(B)
where the superscript * denotes the conjugate transpose.
