With the historic Golconda Fort close by, the Vasavi College of Engineering covers over 13.6-acre (55,000 m2) campus. VCE is home to 170 faculty, 2300 students and 100 administrative and support staff. The college has ten academic departments in engineering and science disciplines. The Taramati Baradari is adjacent to the campus.
The entrance to VCE lies on the Mehdipatnam - Gandipet Road and is flanked by the Golconda Fort and Taramati Baradari. The campus, located 15 km from Begumpet Airport, 27 km from Secunderabad railway station and 13 km from Nampally railway station, is well connected by buses.
The college has a bus facility from Secunderabad 5K/120, Mehdipatnam (120,220).
