Famous quotes containing the words historical, race and/or notes:

    George Grosz (1893–1959)

For now indeed is the race of iron; and men never cease from labour and sorrow by day and from perishing by night.
    Hesiod (c. 8th century B.C.)

    Samuel Beckett (1906–1989)
