Valley News Live is the name of the news department shared by KVLY-TV (NBC) and KXJB-TV (CBS) in Fargo, North Dakota. Hoak Media owns and operates KVLY and shares studios with KXJB through a local marketing agreement.
The stations started simulcasting weekend news in April 2007. The same news is broadcast on both channels. KXJB uses its "4" bug, while KVLY uses the "11" bug during newscasts.
In November 2007, it was announced KVLY and KXJB would expand their simulcasting to the weekdays as well, and on November 5, 2007 that occurred. The new news branding is called "Valley News Live".

Famous quotes containing the words valley, news and/or live:
“I see before me now a traveling army halting,
Below a fertile valley spread, with barns and the orchards of summer,
Behind, the terraced sides of a mountain, abrupt, in places rising high,”
—Walt Whitman (1819–1892)
“Although I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given to me to bring to the Gentiles the news of the boundless riches of Christ...”
—Bible: New Testament, Ephesians 3:8.
“The question of place and climate is most closely related to the question of nutrition. Nobody is free to live everywhere; and whoever has to solve great problems that challenge all his strength actually has a very restricted choice in this matter. The influence of climate on our metabolism, its retardation, its acceleration, goes so far that a mistaken choice of place and climate can not only estrange a man from his task but can actually keep it from him: he never gets to see it.”
—Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)
