Tourist Attraction
Pueblo is a primary tourist attraction in Pyongyang, North Korea, having attracted over 250,000 visitors since being moved to the Taedong River. Pueblo is now anchored at the spot where it is believed the General Sherman Incident took place in 1866. Before being shown around the ship, foreign visitors are treated to a 20 minute video detailing the North Korean viewpoint of the incident.

Famous quotes containing the words tourist and/or attraction:
“The modern American tourist now fills his experience with pseudo-events. He has come to expect both more strangeness and more familiarity than the world naturally offers. He has come to believe that he can have a lifetime of adventure in two weeks and all the thrills of risking his life without any real risk at all.”
—Daniel J. Boorstin (b. 1914)
“The satirist is prevented by repulsion from gaining a better knowledge of the world he is attracted to, yet he is forced by attraction to concern himself with the world that repels him.”
—Italo Calvino (19231985)
