USS LST-738 was an LST-542-class tank landing ship built for the United States Navy during World War II.

LST-738 was laid down on 20 February 1944 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by the Dravo Corporation of Neville Island; launched on 1 April 1944; sponsored by Mrs. John S. Mason; and commissioned on 9 May 1944 with Lieutenant John T. Barnett, USNR, in command.
