Post-War Decommissioning
Bronstein departed New York on 3 November and proceeded to Green Cove Springs, Florida, where she was decommissioned on 17 June 1946 and berthed with the St. Johns River Group. On 3 May 1952, Bronstein was sold to Uruguay and recommissioned as ROU Artigas (DE-2). Her name was struck from the Navy List on 14 May 1952.
