USATC S160 Class - Variants

Variants

There were three major variants of the S160 class, excluding inlife design development:

  • S161 - designed for deployment in Jamaica on British military railways used by the United States. Later subsumed by the Jamaica Railway Corporation
  • S162 - designed for Russian broad gauge track
  • S166 - designed for Russian broad gauge track
