They have further sub-division in their community, which are known by "Nadu" & "Karai". In which, "Karai" is again a sub-division of "Nadu", as Nadu is determined with area."Athinatar" is the major sub division of the Urali Gounder. These peoples are majorly in Salem, Perambalur, Trichy districts
