The Big Picture Program
The Big Picture Program, an initiative of Warrane College, introduces high school students (Years 10 and 11) to the world of professional work and tertiary education to empower them with the knowledge, skills and ideals they need to understand what it means, and what it takes, to build successful careers and fulfilling lives.
The program aims to instil in young people a sense of direction, seeking to explore and discover potential professions in which they feel their talents can best align with their passions and dreams, in order to make a positive contribution to society.
Beyond equipping students to make wise career decisions, the program aims to cultivate in young men an awareness of the bigger picture, extending to an understanding and sense of responsibility for society and their relationships with family and friends.

Famous quotes containing the words the big, big, picture and/or program:
“The name of the town isnt important. Its the one thats just twenty-eight minutes from the big city. Twenty-three if you catch the morning express. Its on a river and its got houses and stores and churches. And a main street. Nothing fancy like Broadway or Market, just plain Broadway. Drug, dry good, shoes. Those horrible little chain stores that breed like rabbits.”
—Joseph L. Mankiewicz (19091993)
“If small money does not go out, big money will not come in.”
—Chinese proverb.
“Its no go the picture palace, its no go the stadium,
Its no go the country cot with a pot of pink geraniums.
Its no go the Government grants, its no go the elections,
Sit on your arse for fifty years and hang your hat on a pension.”
—Louis MacNeice (19071963)
“He believes without reservation that Kentucky is the garden spot of the world, and is ready to dispute with anyone who questions his claim. In his enthusiasm for his State he compares with the Methodist preacher whom Timothy Flint heard tell a congregation that Heaven is a Kentucky of a place.”
—For the State of Kentucky, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
