Unplugged (The Official Bootleg)

Unplugged (The Official Bootleg) is a live unplugged performance by Paul McCartney, recorded and released in 1991. Consequently, McCartney was among the first in a long line of artists to release an unplugged album.

Famous quotes containing the word official:

All official institutions of language are repeating machines: school, sports, advertising, popular songs, news, all continually repeat the same structure, the same meaning, often the same words: the stereotype is a political fact, the major figure of ideology.
    Roland Barthes (1915–1980)
