  • Students won first competition, students won first, second, fifth, and six place in the 2-D art category and also took home four honorable mention awards
  • At the Celebrating our Differences art competition, students won first and third place in the 3-D art category
  • Of more than 700 entries submitted to the Scholastic Art Awards competition, students received 2 American Vision Awards (the highest honor in the competition), 20 Gold Key Awards, 14 Silver Key Awards, and 3 Honorable Mention Awards
  • Out of 11 schools,
  • For the past four years, all AP Studio Art candidates received a perfect score of five for their portfolios
  • Student works were selected for the AP Student Works of Excellence, a national exhibition of 30 exemplary works selected from more than 24,000 portfolios
  • One AP Studio Art student’s portfolio was selected to appear on a CD of exemplary portfolios (used to train AP Studio Art teachers nationwide)
