Faculty Hymn
AB Hymn- Carved from the mighty rock of faith
- Shaped by traditions of old
- Steered by God's guiding hand
- Towards farther shores of our dreams
- Fitful vessels on the high seas
- Surging, undaunted, and free
- Sunlit decks ring with voices
- Resounding in one hymn of praise
- Life, love, and lore brimming full
- Tempered by His gentle hand
- The sea's lucent blue in a distant white
- The mind's calm reason and the heart's delight
- We are lovers of beauty
- Seekers after truth
- Pens ever-geared for sweetness and light
- Arts and Letters, our glory and pride!
The AB Hymn was written by the highly respected writer in the country, Ophelia Alcantara Dimalanta, who also served as the Dean of the UST Faculty of Arts and Letters.

“The starting point of the human and the end,
That in which space itself is contained, the gate
To the enclosure, day, the things illumined
By day, night and that which night illumines,
Night and its midnight-minting fragrances,
Nights hymn of the rock, as in a vivid sleep.”
