Accreditation By Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)

1.The BS Electrical Engineering (Telecom and Electronic) program being offered by UMT for the intake of Batches 2005 to 2007 have been approved by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

It is worth mentioning that PEC is the premier institution and accrediting body that regulates the engineering profession in the country and maintains realistic internationally relevant standards of professional competence and ethics for engineers. The untiring efforts of the team of the School of Science and Technology (SST) and the UMT management in getting accreditation from the PEC are commendable. Congrats: BS EE (Telecom and Electronic) program faculty and students.

Accreditation of BS EE program for the students admitted up to year 2010 has accredited and status will be updated as soon as the program is approved by PEC.


Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has accredited BS Industrial Engineering program of School of Science & Technology from Fall 2012 onwards. Prof. Dr Aziz Bhatti, Dean SST and his team has played a key role in getting this accreditation.
