Students

In 2008–2009, the number of students is about 27,000 divided into six areas, Dijon, Auxerre, Chalon-sur-Saône, Le Creusot, Mâcon and Nevers. The territorial areas (Dijon excepted) receive 11% of the total of students. There are about 3000 foreign students. 66% of the students are from Burgundy.

The CIEF (Centre International d'Études Françaises) allows students at all proficiency levels to immerse themselves in French language classes.

Famous quotes containing the word students:

Separatism of any kind promotes marginalization of those unwilling to grapple with the whole body of knowledge and creative works available to others. This is true of black students who do not want to read works by white writers, of female students of any race who do not want to read books by men, and of white students who only want to read works by white writers.
    bell hooks (b. 1955)

We are students of words: we are shut up in schools, and colleges, and recitation-rooms, for ten or fifteen years, and come out at last with a bag of wind, a memory of words, and do not know a thing.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

Members of the faculty, faculty members, students of Huxley and Huxley students. I guess that covers everything.
S.J. Perelman, U.S. screenwriter, Bert Kalmar, Harry Ruby, and Norman Z. McLeod. Professor Quincy Adams Wagstaff (Groucho Marx)
