The Universe of Energy is a pavilion located in the eastern half of Future World at Epcot. The pavilion contains one attraction, its second since its 1982 opening. The attraction, Ellen's Energy Adventure, starring Ellen DeGeneres and Bill Nye the Science Guy, consists primarily of a slow-moving dark ride through three films and an elaborate recreation of the dinosaur era. Universe of Energy was previously sponsored by ExxonMobil (formerly Exxon) from opening day October 1, 1982 through 2004.

Famous quotes containing the words universe and/or energy:
“In a universe that is all gradations of matter, from gross to fine to finer, so that we end up with everything we are composed of in a lattice, a grid, a mesh, a mist, where particles or movements so small we cannot observe them are held in a strict and accurate web, that is nevertheless nonexistent to the eyes we use for ordinary living—in this system of fine and finer, where then is the substance of a thought?”
—Doris Lessing (b. 1919)
“The very presence of guilt, let alone its tenacity, implies imbalance: Something, we suspect, is getting more of our energy than warrants, at the expense of something else, we suspect, that deserves more of our energy than we’re giving.”
—Melinda M. Marshall (20th century)
