Famous quotes containing the words union, avenue and/or stakes:

The union of hands and hearts.
    Jeremy Taylor (1613–1667)

I came home and ripped off every one of the really lovely refrigerator blossoms that were sewn on my own bodices.
    Carolyn Wells (1862–1942)

Law makes long spokes of the short stakes of men.
