Ulvik (village)
Ulvik is a village in the municipality of Ulvik, Hordaland, Norway. It is located at the end of the Ulvik fjord, a side arm of the Hardangerfjord. The Ulvik urban settlement, as defined by Statistics Norway, had 661 inhabitants as of 2008. As the urban area covers 0.97 km², the population density is 681 per km².
The centre of the village is Brakanes and has a cinema as well as a few shops. Brakanes skule is a primary and lower secondary school and the only school in Ulvik. It has about 150 pupils.
